On Thursday July 1, Louis Andriessen, one of the most influential Dutch composers, passed away at the age of 82. He had been suffering from Alzheimer's disease for some time.

New video: 'Thin Air' by 'Componist des Vaderlands' Calliope Tsoupaki. 'Thin Air' has now been performed more than 45 times all over the world as part of Festivals for Compassion.
In February we recorded the new composition 'Upstream' by Lise Morrison. She wrote this new work for the first concert 'Ear for each other' in the concert series 'Aardlek: urgent matters'. Unfortunately, this concert could not continue due to the lockdown, but we are now proud to present the online premiere with video by Okke van Breemen.
We are proud to share that Fonds Podiumkunsten has honored two applications for composition commissions from Orkest De Ereprijs! New works by Oğuz Büyükberber and Ned McGowan will premiere in the autumn of 2021.
