Educating contemporary music

For years, Orkest De Ereprijs has been organizing its Composition Project for various secondary schools in the region: an extensive education program for graduates for the Music subject. In a short intensive period the students receive education about contemporary music and orchestral instruments and composition. Subsequently, the students each write their own composition, which will be performed by Orkest De Ereprijs, in the presence of family, friends and the curious.

Leading in music education

With this project, Orkest De Ereprijs proves to be one of the leading ensembles in the field of music education in the Netherlands. The school concerts are open to everyone.
