During this week, fifteen selected participants up until 30 years old, rehearse the pieces they have submitted. They are accompanied by experienced senior composers and attend lectures and individual lessons. The senior composers in the 29th edition are Martijn Padding, Richard Ayres, Calliope Tsoupaki, Wilbert Bulsink, Anna Veismane and singing coach Georgi SThe intensive week will be concluded with a concert. The most promising participants, in the opinion of an independent jury of leading composers, will be awarded a paid composition commission as an incentive. All compositions are performed by Orkest De Ereprijs and singers from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, led by Gregory Charette, during the Final Concert on Friday March 3, 2023 in the Gigant theater, Apeldoorn.

 

The concert is going to be on Sunday night February 26th in CODA museum Apeldoorn. Orkest De Ereprijs will perform this night, as well as RKST21. Of course you are very welcome to meet the participants of the 29th YCM!
