Aardlek connects current themes with new, commissioned compositions for De Ereprijs. Guests from various disciplines (including philosophy, design, literature, poetry science) share their ideas and questions with the audience and with the featured composers in an informal setting. The concerts take place in Apeldoorn and Arnhem. Each series of concerts has a particular theme that is worked into a composition by different composers from their own perspective. The theme for concert season 2023-2024 is 'More communication! Less Connection?'

William Voorberg is a researcher at Naturalis Biodiversity Center. His work focuses mainly on how we can strengthen biodiversity on farmland. He does this, for example, by providing insight into the ways in which nature and biodiversity could be part of the agricultural business model. He has a background in co-design, governance and policy.
