/-|00” - Sjors van der Mark

/-|▢^▢” is an audiovisual project with composition and musical performance by our guitarist Sjors van der Mark. The music swings between intense, menacing noise and drone and culminates in a resigned, emotional soundscape. Visual artist Timon Prospèr created a film on this that reflects the intensity, chaos and eventual serenity through mostly abstract images that form a dream sequence between nightmare and paradise. The live performance reverses this process again, by having the musician (within the limits of the piece) respond to the film.
