ChoCo brings together young composers, choreographers, and dancers. Through creation, these young artists have the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop their talent. In just a few days, new work is created from scratch. Composers and choreographers work closely together to develop a performance for dancers from ArtEZ and Orkest De Ereprijs. The result is music and dance of the future, created and performed by the artists of tomorrow. Together with ArtEZ, Orkest De Ereprijs is the initiator of this project: since its inception, the ensemble has been at the forefront of the development of musical and interdisciplinary talent.
The end result of ChoCo is a modern, bold, adventurous, but also up close and personal performance by up-and-coming talent and De Ereprijs.
About Education
Orkest De Ereprijs is a ‘living laboratory’ for talent development and music education. We support students and young professionals in composing new music and introduce them to multidisciplinary forms and other creators.
