Composers

Wilbert Bulsink (Doetinchem, 1983) is a Dutch composer and musician. Is a member of Splendor Amsterdam and composers collective Monoták.

Tansy Davies (Bristol, 1973) is a British composer. She won the BBC Young Composers' Competition in 1996.

Richard Ayres (Cornwall, 1965) is a British composer. He was taught by Morton Feldman and Louis Andriessen.

Andys Skordis (Nicosia, 1983) is a Cypriot composer. Skordis was awarded the Buma Toonzetters Prize 2012 for the best Dutch composition for that year, as well as the Berlin Opera Prize 2022.

Nicoline Soeter is the city composer of Tilburg in 2025 and 2026. Her work was performed at festivals like November Music, Gaudeamus and Transit Festival (BE).

Niko Schroeder studied at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, the University of Missouri, Columbia, and Grand Valley State University. He was awarded University of Missouri’s Sinquefield Prize, the university’s highest honor for a composer.

Rebecca Galian Castello (France, 2000) is a French composer and performer based in London. Her work draws from punk and rock genres and focuses on parameters of intensity, volume, texture and timbre.

Oğuz Büyükberber (Kayseri, 1970) is a Turkish composer, clarinetist and graphic artist. He is known in Turkey and Europe for his work in jazz, electronic and modern music, and for his bass clarinet.

Jasna Veličković (Belgrade, 1974) is a Serbian-born Dutch composer and performer based in Amsterdam. Since 2008 she has been exploring the musical capacities of the (electro) magnetic field – induction, interference – both as the source of sound and the compositional material.
