Herman Lamers

Herman Lamers studied School Music, horn, and wind band conducting at the Arnhem Conservatory. He worked as a music teacher at various secondary schools in Nijmegen and Oss, among other places. He also taught brass instruments at the Ulto Music Association in Winssen, among others. Herman currently teaches guitar in Wijchen and at the Lingewaard guitar school in Bemmel.

Besides his teaching work, Herman is a performing musician with Orkest de Ereprijs and the Ravenstein big band. He has extensive experience coaching bands and providing musical accompaniment for various artists, including Frank Boeijen, Rob de Nijs, Hans de Booy, and Jochem van Gelder. As a freelancer, he has worked with various pop and jazz ensembles. Herman is also a composer and arranger for various wind orchestras and choirs.
