Sabine Laar

Sabine Laar earned her Music Teacher and Performing Musician diplomas at the Enschede Conservatory, participated in several masterclasses, and studied in Canada at the Centre for the Arts in Banff.

As a freelancer, Sabine has gained experience performing with various soloists, orchestras (Orkest van het Oosten, Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Phion, North Netherlands Orchestra, Residentie Orchestra, Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Dutch Touring Opera), musical ensembles (Helikon Saxophone Quartet, percussion and saxophone duo, Netherlands Wind Ensemble, and the Loba Loba group), as well as numerous CD, radio, and television recordings and international concert tours (USA, Canada, Turkey, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Spain, England, and Germany). Sabine also teaches saxophone at the Boogie Woogie Music School in Winterswijk and teaches in the saxophone preparatory program at ArtEZ University of the Arts.
