In Aardlek #17, the orchestra, conducted by Mikel Fernández, presents an adventurous programme featuring new music by Rebecca Galian Castello, Friso van Wijck, Isak Björn Hedlund and two world premieres by Cecilia Arditto Delsoglio (left on the photo) and Julius von Lorentz (right on the photo).

About AARDLEK
Aardlek connects current themes with new compositions written on commission. Guests from various disciplines (including philosophy, design, literature, poetry, and science) share their ideas and questions with the audience and the composers present in an informal setting. Each series of concerts has a specific theme, and composers are invited to incorporate this theme into a composition from their own perspective. These composers are from different generations and often have different cultural backgrounds.
