The second day of Maaiveld Festival will be opened by Sven Ratzke & Orkest De Ereprijs with a special concert!

Sven Ratzke is a versatile, talented Dutch-German artist best known for his work in the cabaret and chanson genre. With a career spanning more than two decades, Ratzke has become a rarity: a cabaret superstar. What sets him apart is his unique and flamboyant style; elusive and accessible at the same time. He is innovative, versatile and expressive. Ratzke is known for his theatrical performances and provocative personality. He has a deep, expressive voice and a talent for telling stories with music and humor.  

After starring in several musical classics and winning a Musical Award, Sven Ratzke has been especially acclaimed for his one-man shows, with which he toured the world. He thrilled press and audiences in recent years with his Bowie performances Starman and Where Are We Now. Ratzke represents the golden combinations: he is a phenomenal singer and an extraordinary entertainer who captivates audiences.
