On September 21 , 150 high school students will visit the orchestra in preparation for their composition project with Orkest De Ereprijs.

On Saturday June 18, 2022, New Music NOW organizes the first national Composer's Day with the motto Long Live the Composer! A feast of new music. Music by composers active in the Netherlands can be heard throughout the country.

With these new compositions for Orkest De Ereprijs, they offer an in-depth insight into backgrounds and provenances. Listeners of different cultures and traditions meet here in a flurry of new musical fusions. This series by De Ereprijs generates new connections across times and cultures.
At Maaiveld festival, music and art are the common thread. More than 25 shows, performances and curios at special locations in the city center, spread over Friday evening and Saturday. With (inter)national and local artists, who work from exciting combinations between music, dance, theater, technology and more.
Young, promising composers of the bachelor and master programmes Composition for Film, Composition for Jazz/Pop and Composition for Classical Music will create brand new music, performed by Orkest De Ereprijs.
