Closing Concert 29th International Young Composers Meeting
Fifteen young, professional composers will have the opportunity for a week to work on their own composition, rehearse with orchestra and singers, attend workshops and individual classes, and thus develop their talents.
Young, promising composers from the bachelors and masters of Composition for Film & Theater, Composition Jazz/Pop and Classical Composition create brand new works for Orkest De Ereprijs.
On the 26th of February 2023 the opening concert of the 29th Young Composers Meeting will be held in CODA Apeldoorn. The Young Composers Meeting is an intiative by Orkest De Ereprijs to give young professional composers under 30 a chance to compose for an ensemble and develop their talents, knowledge and professional network.
We are already approaching the fifth edition of the Andriessen Festival! Together with Musis & Stadstheater Arnhem and Phion, Orchestra of Gelderland & Overijssel, Orkest De Ereprijs presents a program full of contemporary music in the footsteps of Louis Andriessen.
De Ereprijs performs with a dynamic and rhythmic program that crosses the boundary between genres. At the intersection of funk and avant-garde, the orchestra captivates and provides a unique experience, enhanced by the use of dancers assembled for the occasion.
