5th edition of the Andriessen Festival

Together with Musis & Stadstheater Arnhem and PHION, Orkest van Gelderland & Overijssel, Orkest De Ereprijs presents a program full of contemporary music in the footsteps of Louis Andriessen.

Andriessen's search for and compositions for unconventional instrumentations created an ensemble tradition that encourages adventurous and unexpected forms of written music. Both RKST21 and Orchestra De Ereprijs play under the direction of Clark Rundell.

Soloist is master pianist Severin von Eckardstein.

In addition to RKST21, several soloists and smaller ensembles such as Kluster5, Michaela Riener and Laura Sandee will present music by Yannis Kyriakides (premiere), Jennifer Walsch, Pete Harden, Christiaan Richter, Kate Moore, Steve Martland and Celia Swart, among others.
